THEO is a baumkuchen AI craftsman developed by Uheim Co.
The baking process is analyzed by image sensors for each layer of dough baked by artisans, and the technology is converted into data by AI through machine learning, enabling unattended baking of baumkuchen at the same level as artisans.

Foodtech Meister Inc. was established in November 2020. It is a subsidiary of UHEIM Co., Ltd. and is a venture company with Hideo Kawamoto as its president. In the BtoB market for confectionery and food and beverage, the company aims to provide one-stop support for the installation and lending of food tech equipment owned by domestic and overseas food tech startup companies, including the "THEO" baumkuchen AI artisan, from product development to manufacturing, sales, PR, and marketing. The company also provides one-stop support for product development, manufacturing, sales, PR, and marketing.

We charge a monthly registration fee and a royalty fee based on the number of baked baumkuchen.

- We charge a royalty fee of 24% of the 7,500 yen selling price of one baumkuchen.
- The minimum number of pieces to be fired per month is set at 60 pieces.
- Even if the number of pieces fired is less than 60, a royalty fee of 60 pieces will be charged.
- For orders of 61 or more pieces, an additional royalty fee will be charged based on the number of pieces fired.

We are planning to open a training facility where baking and baking of baumkuchen dough can be performed using actual THEO equipment.
THEO owners can use this service for prototyping prior to THEO installation, dough-making practice, and new product prototyping after installation.

- Q. Can I purchase THEO?
- A.We do not sell THEO. Our business model is to receive royalties based on the number of baked items per month. The royalty includes the cost of instruction in the production of baumkuchen.
- Q. What is the on-board AI?
- A.We have THEO learn how to bake baumkuchen from our expert confectioners. The visual camera in THEO recognizes the baking color of baumkuchen and bakes baumkuchen at the same level as our expert confectioners.
- Q. Do you support overseas dispatch?
- A. Yes, we do. Please contact us with details of the country or region where you plan to install the system.
- Q. Can you make baumkuchen in flavors other than plain?
- A. The THEO baumkuchen recipe that we provide is plain only. We would like you to come up with your own recipe for other flavors based on the plain recipe, and our artisans will be happy to give you advice.
