THEO will exhibit at "Agriculture WEEK (J-AGRI)

Foodtech Meister Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Foodtech Meister"), together with Fuji Shokai Co., Ltd. will participate in "Agriculture WEEK (J-AGRI)" to be held at Makuhari Messe from October 1 (Wed.) to 3 (Fri.), 2025, and introduce the baumkuchen AI artisan "THEO We will introduce our baumkuchen AI craftsman, "THEO".

J-AGRI is a trade show featuring agricultural materials, smart agricultural products, livestock materials, and more. THEO will be exhibiting at the Next Generation Agricultural Management EXPO (Booth No. 34-6).

Introduction of THEO to be exhibited

Baumkuchen AI Shokunin "THEO" uses image analysis and AI technology to reproduce the baking conditions of a craftsman. It is an unmanned baking machine that can bake baumkuchen at the same level as a craftsman. Baumkuchen is a popular product, and there are many companies that wish to produce and sell it. However, it has been difficult to start a business because of hurdles such as installing a dedicated baking machine, training artisans, and hiring new employees. Foodtech Meister has developed an AI-equipped baking machine that can reproduce artisan-level baking techniques, and THEO can be used without any confectionery experience and can be utilized in "6th industrialization," in which producers themselves are involved in the production and sales of confectionery products. The Tomita chicken farm in Miyazaki Prefecture, which introduced THEO in May 2022, raises parent hens and ships approximately 5 million eggs to a hatchery each year. Among these eggs, those that are out of standard and cannot be shipped are utilized as raw materials for baumkuchen, and livestock farmers are taking on the challenge of using THEO to manufacture and sell confectionery. By utilizing out-of-spec agricultural products and surplus food that would normally be discarded as ingredients for baumkuchen, a popular Japanese food, THEO contributes to the reduction of food loss. THEO will play a major role as an AI craftsman that connects different industries and creates new value.

At the exhibition booth, there will be baking demonstrations by THEO and tasting of freshly baked baumkuchen.
