ORIGINE KOBE" is a group of 8 voluntary owner-chefs who run patisseries between Kobe and Ashiya, and was formed with the aim of further growth and development of "Kobe, the City of Sweets" and to pass on the western confectionery culture originating from Kobe. An event to celebrate their 10th anniversary will be held at the Daimaru Kobe store.
ORIGINE KOBE member, Patisserie Akito Tanaka, will be selling his original baumkuchen at the event.

It opened in April 2014 in Kobe, a city that has flourished as a port town since ancient times and where various cultures, including Meriken Park and other reservations, are still deeply rooted today. The shop sells a variety of seasonal confections including milk jam and fruit jam, which are synonymous with owner-chef Tetsuto Tanaka and are made with the utmost care and attention to their deliciousness.
