Kobe Portopia Hotel launches new "Strawberry Baumkuchen" (limited sale from 1/27)

(Chuo-ku, Kobe; General Manager: Tsuyoshi Ito) will sell a limited edition strawberry baumkuchen from January 27 (Mon.) to April 6 (Sun.), 2025, to remind people of the arrival of spring. The dough, which is carefully baked layer by layer, releases a softly spread sweet and sour aroma, and has a pretty pink appearance reminiscent of dainty spring.
Commitment to Products
Using seasonal strawberries, we have maximized the natural sweetness and a hint of sourness. The moist texture melts in your mouth, and you can feel the tenderness of spring in every bite. We hope you will enjoy this dish, which is filled with the skills and passion of the hotel patissier.
Commitment to Development
In developing the new product, the baking technique was pursued to the utmost limit by combining the skills of "THEO," a baumkuchen AI craftsman, with those of a hotel patissier. The dough mixing method and temperature were carefully adjusted to achieve the ideal texture and flavor through a process of trial and error.
Please take this opportunity to try our "Strawberry Baumkuchen," which is sure to bring you the feeling of spring.
